John, the United Auto Workers have announced a tentative agreement with Ford! Watch UAW President Shawn Fain’s announcement here.

UAW has named the following wins in the TA so far:

  • provides more in base wage increases than Ford workers have received in the past 22 years.

  • grants 25% in base wage increases through April 2028.

  • cumulatively raises the top wage by over 30% – more than $40 an hour.

  • raises the starting wage by 68%, to over $28 an hour.

  • the lowest-paid workers at Ford will see a raise of more than 150% over the life of the agreement.

  • some workers will receive an immediate 85% wage increase immediately upon ratification.

The significant wins on Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA) and wages in this tentative agreement with Ford demonstrate the power of communities and workers coming together. Our collective power – union leaders, activists, picket line supporters – put Ford on notice! With continued pressure, General Motors and Stellantis will be forced to deliver big for workers too.

As the UAW membership begins the ratification process for the Ford tentative agreement, pressure at GM and Stellantis must continue. While Ford workers return to work, auto workers at GM & Stellantis will continue striking. UAW is calling on community supporters to double down and continue to show up at the strike lines in solidarity. We still have a role in helping workers secure strong contracts! And we’ll be there until the end.
