 Fellow American, I’m Kevin Lincoln, the conservative Republican who is running to defeat leftist Josh Harder in California’s highly-targeted 9th Congressional District – one of the most competitive House races in the country. I’m a Marine Corps veteran, mayor of my hometown of Stockton, a proud father & husband, and I’m running to rescue American families and workers from Washington D.C.’s broken politics. Service has always defined my life. I joined the United States Marine Corps in 2001 and became a military police officer. After 9/11, I was assigned to Marine One to serve and protect the President of the United States.  When I completed my military service, I graduated from college while working full time and raising a family. But my urge to serve hadn’t gone. I continued to serve my community as a pastor and as a non-profit leader. Now, one of the greatest honors of my life is being able to serve as the Mayor of my hometown of Stockton, California. As Mayor, my team and I have revitalized our local economy, attracted businesses that have created jobs, balanced our budget, tackled homelessness, and reduced violent crime. America as a whole is suffering these same problems, but the politicians in the White House and Congress don’t have what it takes to fix them. I do, and that’s why I’m running for Congress. My country needs me again, and I’m ready to serve.
