Hello Friend,
I am so excited about the Northern Nevada Progressive Summit! The speaking
lineup is coming together and it shows how diverse our community is!
The Northern Nevada Progressive Summit is coming up on Saturday, March
21st, 2020! [ [link removed] ]The Summit has tons of breakout sessions for participants
to choose from as well some incredible speakers. Christi Cabrera from
Nevada Conservation League will discuss their work during a climate
session, Patricia Gallimore, with the NAACP, will speak during our
Abortion Out Loud session, and Amanda Cuevas, a local social worker will
discuss her work during our #METOO: Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault
session.
In addition to the breakout sessions, I am excited to announce our growing
list of keynote speakers! Blossom C. Brown will be speaking Saturday
morning! She is an actress, producer, & activist who appeared on CNN’s
Equality Town Hall. In addition, we have the State Treasurer, Zachary
Conine Saturday afternoon, discussing his office’s efforts to address
student loan debt.
