We’ve mentioned Maryland’s campaign fundraising freeze in our past emails, but let me explain what this entails and what it means for Wes.

➡️ The moment the General Assembly gavels in to start their legislative session in January, Maryland officials are prohibited from accepting any donations and holding fundraising events until the end of the session in April.

➡️ The political fundraising freeze applies to Maryland state officials — including the Governor.

➡️ That means we only have until January 10th to raise what we’ll need to be prepared for the upcoming freeze!

That’s right — in 76 days, we’ll have to pause ALL of our efforts to support Wes. So we’re building up our campaign’s reserves now to make sure we have the strongest quarter possible before the start of the legislative session.
