Find convenient locations for safe medication disposal

Medications

Saturday, October 28, 2023 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day! It's a great time to clean out your medicine cabinet! Protect our kids, families, and the environment by properly disposing of unneeded and expired medicines. Medicines in the home are a leading cause of accidental poisoning and flushed or trashed medicines can end up polluting our waters.

Drop-boxes to safely dispose of unused and expired medications are located throughout Kitsap County at participating retail pharmacies, hospitals, and clinic pharmacies. Most prescription and over-the-counter medicines are accepted unless specified.
