# Last Call for Tickets!
Don't miss your chance to join us for CDT's Tech Prom 2023! Join friends and fellow leaders from the tech policy space for an evening of conversation and connections on Thursday, November 2 at The Anthem.
Sponsorships have sold out, so be sure to purchase your Champion, General Reception, or Dessert Reception tickets today!
During this year's event, CDT is excited to feature the 2023 Tech Prom Artist Exhibition, a one-night-only group exhibit bringing together a collection of artwork exploring algorithmic systems and themes at the heart of technology policy discussions happening today.
*
Chris Combs ([link removed]), an artist based in Washington, D.C and Mount Rainier, Maryland, will be showing interactive artworks that explore themes of surveillance, privacy, and algorithmic failure--and react to viewers with facial recognition and motion sensing.
*
Billy Friebele ([link removed]), an interdisciplinary artist working in the Washington, D.C. region, will exhibit pieces from his series entitled "Machines Learn from the River," which juxtaposes digital images generated by AI with natural materials from the Anacostia river.
*
Curry Hackett ([link removed]), an award-winning transdisciplinary designer, public artist, and educator, will exhibit "Quilted Imaginaries," the latest in an ongoing body of research and speculative work dealing with issues of Black culture, land, agency, geography, and mobility. This work uses artificial intelligence to dream up scenes of Black gatherings, architectures, and material languages in a speculative (yet plausible) "near-future".
We'll also feature live music from 'Round Midnight.
Your support allows CDT to continue our important work. We hope you'll join us!

Learn More About CDT
At the Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT), we fight to advance civil rights and civil liberties in the digital age. We advocate to policymakers and the courts in the U.S. and Europe, engage with companies to improve their policies and product designs, and shape public opinion on major tech policy issues. In addition to our advocacy work, CDT's research team produces deep-dive original scholarship to explore novel solutions to pressing issues in technology policy.
Established in 1994, CDT is the leading nonpartisan, multi-stakeholder convener and a trusted voice in the tech policy space.
