Well, this is it! Today, we’re officially kicking off our last big fundraising goal before Election Day.

We’ve set an ambitious goal of raising $10,000 before midnight on Halloween (spooky, I know). Meeting this goal means we can embark on our final push to turn out voters to vote YES on Issue 1 and show the anti-choice extremists in Ohio that we refuse to be silenced.

I’m sure it’s clear by now that yes, this election is about protecting our reproductive freedoms, but it’s also about more than that. Supporting Issue 1 on Election Day would protect the right to reproductive care in our state constitution, but it would also send a message to the special interest cronies that have been taking over our state: we won’t go back.

They think that with enough dirty tricks and just the right amount of money, they can control Ohio. Voting YES on Issue 1 next month would tell them that Ohioans are in charge. It would tell them that no matter what they do, they can’t take away our voices. That a small powerful few can’t take away the power of the people.
