Next month, Director Michelle Zambrano, MPH will be representing the New York Health Leads team at the 2023 American Public Health Association’s Annual Meeting and Expo. She’ll be discussing how the New York Coalition for Doula Access (NYCDA) was able to advocate for equitable reimbursement for doulas in the session titled Improving Maternal Health Outcomes By Increasing Access To Doula Care With Medicaid: Results Of A Cross Sector Strategic Collaboration.
