Ruth's List Florida is thrilled to welcome two new team members -- Shakhea Hinton who joins the organization as our new Communications Director, and Jadyn Gonzales as Development Coordinator.
A native of Apopka, Shakhea Hinton previously served as the Deputy Communications Director for Florida Rising, and was the Public Information Officer for State Attorney Monique Worrell of Florida’s Ninth Judicial Circuit. She is the co-chair for the Campaign and Candidate Engagement Committee of Delta 4 Women in Action (D4) and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Hinton’s activism and political efforts in Central Florida earned her the honor of "Rising Star'' in Florida Politics by Influence Magazine in 2022.
Jadyn Gonzales brings campaign experience in field, research, and management for women candidates at the state and local level in Florida including state Senator Janet Cruz and Hillsborough County Tax Collector Nancy Millan. She is a member of the Pinellas County Democratic Executive Committee (DEC) and Pinellas County Young Democrats. Gonzales is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Administration at Florida State University.
