Deed Theft Panel Discussion 

Brooklyn, NY - Wednesday, March 19, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke (NY-09) will host a panel discussion about deed theft. Deed theft is the act of tricking homeowners with fraudulent paperwork that effectively hands over the deed to their property. 

WHO:      Host Congresswoman Yvette D.  Clarke; in collaboration with: New York State Attorney General's Office, Brooklyn District Attorney's Office, NYC Sheriff's Office, AARP and Grow Brooklyn

WHAT:     A district panel discussion and constituent Q&A to explain deed theft and how lawmakers are implementing preventative measures to combat it on local and federal levels.
