Hawaii State Republican Chair, Tamara McKay, Announces Nikki Haley on the Ballot for Hawaii Republican Presidential Caucus


HONOLULU — The Hawaii Republican Party is pleased to announce that former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has officially registered as the second candidate for the Hawaii Republican Presidential Caucuses slated for March 12, 2024.

Hawaii GOP Chair Tamara McKay remarked on the announcement, “This is an exciting to as we welcome all Republican Presidential campaigns to our beautiful state of Hawaii. With Nikki Haley on the ballot, we are excited and looking ahead to see which other Republican Presidential contenders will be vying for Hawaii's GOP Convention delegates. Our goal is to foster healthy competition and elevate voter turnout for the upcoming March 12 Caucuses.”

The importance of the March 12 voting cannot be understated, as it will determine the proportional delegate allocation among all competing candidates. For context, in the 2016 Hawaii Republican Presidential Caucuses, over 15,000 Hawaii Republicans participated.

Residents of Hawaii are reminded that the GOP Caucuses will take place on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, between 6 PM and 8 PM. There will be numerous voting locations available statewide. All those wishing to vote must present a valid photo ID and sign a GOP membership card at their respective polling stations.
