I wanted to give you a quick overview of what’s happening in the race for California’s 30th District.

Here’s what’s going on:

Adam Schiff represented this district for many years and built an exceptional record of service.

Now that he is running for the U.S. Senate, almost twenty candidates have entered the race to succeed him. We’re competing in the primary on March 5, 2024. The top two candidates, regardless of party, will go on to the general election.

That means that even in this “blue district,” a handful of votes could be decisive in determining which names are on the ballot in November. 

With the challenges we face, from the gun violence crisis to the climate crisis, it’s critical that we send an experienced progressive who is ready to pick up Adam Schiff’s baton on Day One. The people of Los Angeles deserve nothing less.
