Hi friend, it's Don Davis. Well, it's official. The awaited new maps have been drawn and voted on. NC-01 is now a "democratic toss up" race. This past week, North Carolina's newly adopted maps revealed a slightly more competitive version of NC-01, changing our race's Cook Political rating from "Likely Democratic" to "Toss Up." This modification is no surprise; we are ready to continue fighting for the people of eastern North Carolina. Throughout my career, I have always worked across the aisle to deliver solutions for all constituents — and that has remained evident in just the first couple of months of serving in the U.S. House of Representatives. I have worked with my colleagues to put farmers first, advocate for solutions to longstanding health care inequities, bring resources back to our district, and so much more. And guess what? We're just getting started. We are battle-tested and ready to face the challenges ahead. I will relentlessly focus on impacting eastern North Carolina in fundamental ways. We will continue to prioritize the kitchen-table issues affecting all of our families, regardless of political party, and we will do it together. Keeping this seat in 2024 means we must prepare now, which can only begin with loyal supporters like you.
