Friend, at the start of 2023, we set a fundraising goal
for the year. Thanks to the support of many of you, we’re a little more
than two thirds of the way to this goal.

But 2023 is far beyond two
thirds of the way over. So we need to pick up our fundraising pace in
order to end the year where we need to be.

While I’m not on the
ballot next year, campaign season never ends.

And that’s especially
true for downballot candidates, because during election years voters
are more focused on races at the top of the ticket.

So we have to
raise as much as we can, as soon as we can.

We travel the state
constantly to share our message — here we are at the Ellijay
Independence Day Parade.

digital ads on a shoestring budget compared to campaigns at the top of
the ticket. (Here's one we ran earlier this year.)

ng?utm_source=rc&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=2023oct27hf And on top of
that, we’re planning to do everything we can to support Georgia
Republicans up and down the ballot in 2024.

This is hard work that’s
worth doing, but all of it takes money.

I’m no politician with a
national network. I’m a lawman and soldier who was asked to serve. I’ve
made it my new mission to put Georgia consumers and families first.
And I’m humbly asking you, if you’re able, to send reinforcements to
this mission.

John King got his start as a beat cop with the Atlanta Police
Department. He worked various assignments, including Red Dog and
Organized Crime, before joining the Doraville Police Department. Before
becoming Chief of Police, he served as a Detective and Deputy Chief.
During his 17 years as Police Chief, Commissioner King tackled
corruption, implemented community policing in at-risk neighborhoods,
and cracked down on gang violence through early intervention programs
at local schools.
In addition to his career in law enforcement,
Commissioner King spent four decades serving in the U.S. Army National
Guard — enlisting as a private and retiring as a major general.
He
deployed to Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan — earning the Bronze Star
Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, El Salvador gold medal for achievement,
meritorious service medals, and a NATO award along the way.
Commissioner King retired from active duty in 2023.
As Georgia’s
Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner, Commissioner King has disrupted
the status quo, put Georgia families first, and held the powerful
accountable. He was appointed by Governor Brian Kemp in 2019 and
elected to a full term in 2022, making him Georgia’s first Hispanic
statewide elected official.
