Honoring The Victims Of The Tragedy In Lewiston, Maine

The Department of Central Management Services has received notice from Governor JB Pritzker that all person or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act
are to fly the flags at half-staff in honor and remembrance of the victims of the senseless gun violence that occurred on October 25, 2023 in Lewiston, Maine.
This led to the death of at least 18 people and left several individuals injured.


Please immediately lower the United States flags and the State
flags at all buildings occupied by your agency’s personnel from:


Thursday, October 26, 2023 to
Sunset on Monday, October 30, 2023
