Today is Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton’s birthday.

At this year’s Clinton Global Initiative meeting, she announced that the Clinton Foundation is doubling down on our efforts to advance equal rights and representation for women and girls around the world. She has spent a lifetime on this work, and today on her 76th birthday, we ask for your support in making equal rights, representation, and opportunities for women and girls a reality worldwide. Once and for all.

Nearly 30 years ago, she joined delegates from around the world in Beijing to shine a spotlight on the status of women and girls. There, they asserted that women’s rights are human rights, and moving towards the fulfillment of those rights is an urgent call. Unfortunately, the work is far from done.
