As a senior member of the Congressional Black Caucus and a former chair, John, I’m proud of how far our caucus has come in the more than 50 years since its creation.
With 57 members, the CBC is the largest and strongest it’s ever been, and in this 118th Congress, we made history by electing Hakeem Jeffries as the first Black member of Congress to lead either party.

ELECT MORE BLACK LEADERS [[link removed]]

By growing our caucus, we can give Black Americans and other marginalized communities a strong voice at the decision-making table in Congress. It puts us in a better position to champion our shared values, like combating voter suppression and closing racial disparities in our health care and education systems.
As we approach 2024, the Congressional Black Caucus PAC and I are working to elect Black leaders -- from Kamala Harris in the White House all the way down the ballot.
We can’t do it without you, John. Will you split a contribution between the CBC PAC and my campaign before the end-of-month deadline? [[link removed]]
