Have you noticed that our world today is on edge?

We are bombarded constantly with negative news. Fear-mongering messages dominate our social media feeds. People are making decisions largely based on fear, including women who are being pressured into abortion.

So what does the world need?

Sr. Bethany Madonna of the Sisters of Life shared an incredible message at our Life Awards Gala last month that I want to make sure you hear.

She shares about her encounters with strangers and how she notices that people make decisions based on this primary emotion— and she powerfully gives us the antidote to fear.

John, fear is always limiting. Fear-based decisions might provide temporary relief from hardship, but they eventually lead to long-term regret and pain, as is declared by so many men and women post-abortion.

But as Sr. Bethany Madonna reminds us: Perfect love casts out fear.

Today let us remember that this world needs love, and each of us can bring more love into the world by our small, everyday actions towards those around us.

One act of love at a time, we can boldly declare that not only does love cast out fear, but love is stronger even than death itself.
