Following my military service in 2010 I transitioned here the the 6th District to the Frederick area, where I continued my career in Medical Logistics as a Federal Employee. While I am no longer a current Federal Employee (I resigned in 2021 before my first campaign for Congress in 2022), I held various federal positions working for the United States Army at Fort Detrick, supporting the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain Process.
I mainly served as a Program Manager tasked with managing the Army’s Medical Logistics Program in the wholesale procurement, production, introduction, sustainment and recovery of Medical Sets, Kits and Outfits (SKOs) and individual medical equipment requirements for the entire Army’s deploying medical force. I rose to the federal position of GS-14 (equivalent to a Major or Lieutenant Colonel in the military) before I decided to resign my Federal Position and embark on my next journey to serve my country in the United States House of Representatives.
