The ongoing siege on Gaza and the West Bank is weighing heavily on our spirits right now. We, at LittleSis, know that corporations, billionaires, and politicians are responsible for escalating war and enabling genocide for their own profit.

Today, we published a new research piece on our news site Eyes on the Ties titled “Corporate Enablers of Israel’s War on Gaza”, which maps out some of the major defense companies propping up and profiting from war crimes in Gaza, as well as some of the billionaire donors who are enabling the ongoing war against Palestinians.

As part of our ongoing monthly training series, we’re also hosting a public webinar today at 12pm ET titled “Researchers Against the War Machine: Lessons from NARMIC”. We hope this webinar provides some important context and history about the role that power research has played and can continue to play in our struggles against the war machine today. From the late 1960s through the mid-1980s, an organization called National Action/Research on the Military-Industrial Complex – or just “NARMIC” – provided crucial research support for anti-war, anti-nuclear, and anti-apartheid movements in the U.S. From mapping top weapons contractors and war profiteers, to producing research guides on stockholder meetings, to publishing analyses of the U.S. defense budget, NARMIC concretely aided local and national movements that directly confronted the corporate power behind U.S. militarism.

LittleSis is excited to host NARMIC veteran Diana Roose for a discussion about the life and legacies of NARMIC and what we can learn from it today.
