Dear John,

Ed Shapiro knows how he will be spending his summer vacation. He's heading from Washington to Wisconsin to make sure that eligible voters have the ID and information they need to cast a ballot that counts.

Ed made his first trip to Milwaukee in 2018 ahead of the midterm elections. He was motivated to join VoteRiders by his belief that every American deserves the right to vote.

“I had not considered myself an activist, but this was just wrong. I had to do something. If the courts or legislatures are not going to ameliorate this problem then we have to do all that we can to help those who are affected by harsh or confusing requirements."

Ed shared his power to make a difference in 2018 – and he's committed to doing the same in 2020.

Will you join him? As a VoteRiders volunteer, you can take direct action to ensure that every American has a voice that counts this November. We have opportunities to get involved from home, on the road, or in your community. Sign up now!

With our gratitude,

Sylvester Johnson III
National Volunteer Manager
