Twenty-two days after they brought Congress to a complete halt, House Republicans have elected Mike Johnson, an election denying extremist, to be Speaker of the House. Can you pitch in $5 to help Democrats take back the House and elect Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker? ([link removed])

House Republicans had a choice. They had the option to pursue a bipartisan deal and reopen the People's House 3 weeks ago. Instead, they chose to appease far-right MAGA extremists in their party, and elect a Speaker who led the efforts in the House to overturn the 2020 election. Now, he is in charge of the very institution responsible for overseeing the certification of the 2024 election. This is unacceptable and dangerous.
