The fiasco that just unfolded in the House Republican Caucus has laid bare the ungovernable dysfunction plaguing one branch of our government. Amid death threats and screaming matches, it took a whopping 22 days for Republicans to find a speaker, all the while our nation's business was at a standstill.
We cannot afford to let this dysfunction continue, and we must do our part to help restore sanity in Washington. In 2024, Delaware must send a Democrat back to Washington to help us secure the majority and ensure the U.S. House can get back to working for the American people.
