Colleges Caught Between Hamas-Supporting Students and Wealthy Donors
- Universities are not in the education business. They are in the misty-eyed nostalgia business.
- A key part of their revenue consists of donations from aging alumni.
- But this misty-eyed nostalgia business model is in danger of disruption by scores of student groups at universities across the country endorsing or rationalizing, in the name of “decolonization,” the atrocities being committed by Hamas.
- Historically, protests organized by student clubs have been part of the social life that universities have encouraged. But if those protests get out of hand and threaten to alienate alumni or scare aware future students, the misty-eyed business model of higher education is threatened.
- Like a modern-day Lysistrata, alumni should withhold their wallets until universities change their ways. They can use their leverage under the current business model to force universities to get college-sponsored clubs under control so that they no longer celebrate or rationalize rape and baby-killing.

Heritage Sues DHS Over College Program That Linked Conservative Groups to Neo-Nazis
- The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration, demanding the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) produce records concerning its Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program, which funded a university program that placed The Heritage Foundation on a “pyramid of far-right radicalization,” with militant neo-Nazis.
- The “pyramid of far-right radicalization” lists The Heritage Foundation on the base of the pyramid, alongside Fox News, the Republican Party, the National Rifle Association, and other conservative groups that represent tens of millions of Americans.
- This lawsuit comes after the DHS refused to comply with the Oversight Project’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests for the same documents.
- In May 2023, it was reported that DHS sent more than $350,000 to the University of Dayton to fund a project which was meant to “develop and implement modules on the risks of and protective factors for radicalization to violence related to media literacy and online critical thinking for students.”
- It's a sad day in America when patriotic citizens have to sue their own government for targeting them.

Speaker Johnson and House Republicans Must Unite to End the Biden Border Crisis
- The Biden administration continues to put Americans last by handing operational control of the border over to the cartels and facilitating mass, unvetted illegal immigration.
- The chaos at the border has let hundreds of suspected terrorists into the country, pushed fentanyl into communities in every state, and enriched dangerous, human-trafficking cartels.
- It is time for the new Speaker and House Republicans to unite behind their mechanism to fix this disaster: H.R. 2. Securing America’s border must remain a top legislative priority over the coming weeks.
- Most important, the border crisis should not be viewed as a problem that can be solved with more taxpayer dollars—a trap that has been laid alongside providing critical financial assistance to Israel.
