After four nominees and over three weeks without a House Speaker, Rep. Mike Lawler joined extreme MAGA Republicans to elect the new House Speaker Mike Johnson.

To be clear, Mike Johnson is just Jim Jordan without the sex abuse coverup baggage. Their voting records are practically identical:
Both led the charge to overturn the 2020 election results

Both voted against codifying same-sex and interracial marriage
Both support a national abortion ban
Both want to slash funding for Social Security, Medicare, and other vital programs
Both voted against capping the price of insulin at $35 per month
House Speaker Mike Johnson even authored a federal Don’t Say Gay Law last fall. Mike Lawler’s vote for House Speaker is just par for course. He pretends to be moderate when the camera is on, but at the end of day he just votes with the extreme MAGA Republicans.

Our critical end-of-month fundraising deadline is just days away. Chip in whatever you can right away so Mike Lawler doesn’t get to take one more vote against the people of this district.
