We’re coming up on our next end-of-month fundraising deadline, and we’re still short of our $5,000 goal.
Our next grassroots fundraising deadline is less than one week from today.
In a moment, I’m going to ask if you can pitch in to help us reach our $5,000 goal before October 31 at midnight — but before I do, I hope you’ll let me explain just how much your contribution matters.
This month has been a busy one. While the Republican majority in Congress heads toward a potential government shutdown as they continue their chaotic infighting, the real work for the American people has come to a standstill in Washington.
But not here in California.
Here, we’re making the most of each day and achieving real progress. That includes my work to keep California’s common-sense gun violence prevention laws in place, building more affordable housing for families of all income levels, and taking on corporations for polluting our air and water.
It’s a busy job, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s an honor to lead our state in tackling the biggest issues facing us, and I want to keep my attention on the work at hand instead of spending time making calls for donations. That’s where this grassroots team comes in!
Right now, our campaign is still behind on our October goal of $5,000, and there are only six days left for us to pick up the pace and reach it before the month ends. Can you chip in $5 or more right now to help us get back on track?
