Despite what the radical Left wants you to believe, parents have the right to know about major changes in the lives of their children—including changes occurring while their kids are at school.
School districts across the country employ Parental Secrecy Policies designed to deceive parents and socially transition kids behind parents’ backs.
Finally, a school district in California did the right thing.
Chino Valley Unified School District enacted a Parental Notification Policy requiring faculty to immediately inform parents of changes in their children’s gender identity.
And California’s Attorney General is suing them for it.
I wish I was making this up, John.
But California’s government is so backwards and broken that when a school board sticks up for parents’ rights, and for the health of children, the state’s Attorney General sued them.
We’re representing a group of parents who filed a motion to intervene in this lawsuit, and we argued the matter this past Thursday.
The good news is that the judge granted our motion to intervene, meaning the parents we’re representing are officially defendants in the case alongside the school board.
The bad news is that the judge also granted Attorney General Bonta’s motion for preliminary injunction, bringing the district’s parental notification policy to a halt.
