John,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you and reflect on the importance of this race. Your incredible support has fueled our campaign, and I'm grateful to have you on this journey with me.
As we witness workers across the country rallying with their unions for better wages, benefits, and protections – from auto workers to a historic strike of healthcare workers – it's abundantly clear to me that the people want leaders focused on investing and uplifting our communities. Too many feel left behind, and they're rallying for an economy that works for us all.
For over seven years as commissioner of public lands, I've put my agency to work investing in our communities, from restoring our forests and expanding agricultural production to building clean energy and new technologies, investing millions through the WA Department of Natural Resources to make our communities more equitable and give them the resources needed to thrive.
Now, as I run for governor, I’m fighting to continue this crucial work, ensuring Washington becomes a blueprint for a pro-worker, pro-education, pro-family, pro-choice, and pro-environment state.
Your grassroots contributions are the backbone of our campaign, and I'm confident that, with your ongoing support, we can keep the Evergreen State true to its name.
Thank you once again for standing with me.
Hilary
P.S. We’re in the last week of fundraising with an ambitious goal to raise $10,000 this week. As we continue on this journey, building communities that work for us all, no matter your walk of life, will you join me with a $5 contribution?
