I’ve spent a lot of time on the water over the years, so I hope you don’t mind if I throw in a few nautical puns to help me get my message across.

This year, Defend Democracy PAC has been on a mission to stem the tide of MAGA extremism in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

But it hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing, John. In fact, this has been one of the most expensive – and most consequential – elections in state history.

Republicans have flooded Virginia’s most competitive districts with a tsunami of cash in a bid to control the General Assembly. In September, Gov. Youngkin’s PAC shattered fundraising records by raking in $4 million in 48 hours.

But with you on board, we’ve made some financial waves of our own. So far, we’ve disbursed $280,000 to Democrats in Virginia’s most competitive races.

However, we just learned that Youngkin is pouring $1.4 million into a last-minute attack ad blitz, and we need a boatload of resources to keep VA Democrats afloat.

I’m calling for a groundswell of grassroots support to boost Democratic candidates at every level of government, from School Board to State Senate. Will you rush $25 to help us put some wind in their sails for the final stretch? [[link removed]]
