John – After 3 weeks of chaos and mudslinging over who should be the next Speaker, House Republicans have finally made their choice:
Rep. Mike Johnson.
If you haven’t heard of him until now, let me give you a quick rundown, John:
- He is one of the biggest deniers of the 2020 election results and bragged about getting his marching orders from Trump to file a briefing in Texas to overturn the election.
- He’s staunchly anti-choice, in favor of a nationwide abortion ban, and proudly touts his A+ rating from anti-choice extremists.
- He is vehemently anti-LGBTQ, having sponsored “Don’t Say Gay” bills, and claims to be on the “frontlines” of the “culture war.”
This man is now in charge of the People’s House.
