Who is Mike Johnson? It’s a question even many House Republicans are asking themselves. Here’s what you need to know:
- Mike Johnson played a leading role in congressional efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
- He is the co-sponsor of
national abortion ban legislation.
- Johnson supports slashing Social Security and Medicare.
- He introduced legislation last year that mirror’s Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” law banning education of LGBTQ+ topics.
- Johnson considers Jim Jordan a “mentor.”
