GOA is on the cusp of achieving a major pro-gun legislative victory, but the swamp still has one final trick up their sleeves to try and stop us.

Recently, we successfully lobbied the Senate to add the bipartisan Kennedy/Bost amendment to the Military, Construction, Veteran Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act of 2024 (H.R. 4366).

This pro-gun language will defund the so-called “Fiduciary Rule” which the Department of Veterans Affairs has used to unconstitutionally disarm more than 250,000 veterans.

H.R. 4366 has already passed the House, and it just passed the Senate today.

But because there are some differences between the House and Senate version of the bill, Congress will meet in a conference committee to draft a final version…

…and anti-gun swamp politicians are plotting to exploit this conference committee to stealthily strike the pro-gun language from this final version that will go to Joe Biden’s desk.

Alternatively the Swamp could rail-road a last-minute omnibus funding bill through Congress without this language—just like Nancy Pelosi did last Christmas.

To counter this late push from the swamp, we need YOU to contact your elected officials before they go to conference and tell them to preserve this bipartisan pro-gun protection for veterans in any final bill that funds the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The bureaucratic process known as the “fiduciary rule” has been used to unconstitutionally disarm veterans since the Clinton Administration.

Tens of thousands have been disarmed simply because they sought financial assistance with their benefits.

These brave men and women put their life on the line to defend our country, only to return home and be stripped of their constitutional rights by ungrateful anti-gun bureaucrats.

They’re never even given the chance to defend themselves.

It’s abhorrent that they’ve been treated like this.

After years of lobbying from GOA, Congress is finally on the verge of stopping Biden and the swamp from disarming veterans without due process.

Now, GOA-backed language to protect veterans’ gun rights has passed both chambers—a first time since the Clinton Administration began disarming these veterans.

But we need YOU to speak up for our veterans and ensure the swamp doesn’t sabotage all our hard work at the final hour.
