John,
Justice and equality are the bedrock of our democracy and that’s what makes the exploitation of our system by wealthy tax cheats a slap on the face of every hardworking American. Once a symbol of collective responsibility, our tax system is now being pillaged by the wealthy, with the help of spineless politicians who dance to the tunes of their puppet masters.
This alliance is robbing the nation of crucial revenue, hamstringing our ability to invest in education, healthcare, and infrastructure. It's past time we obliterate the connection of wealth and political collaboration that seeks to bleed our nation dry.
Enter the Inflation Reduction Act which goes after tax evaders head on ensuring they pay every last dime. Yet, MAGA Republicans, armed with their agenda to defund the IRS want to provide a safe haven for tax evaders, while throwing the middle and working classes to the wolves.
We must fight back. Demand Congress increase, not cut, funding for the IRS by adding your name now.
The riches hoarded through tax evasion are nothing but stolen resources that rightfully belong to the people and would help everyone, especially the marginalized communities who bear the brunt of this economic onslaught.
When the wealthy don't pay their fair share, the deficit they create is seen in underfunded schools that lack basic needs and in the crumbling infrastructure of impoverished neighborhoods starved of resources.
The revenue that would have been generated from a just taxation of the wealthy could significantly uplift these communities, providing better educational facilities, and healthcare services, and creating job opportunities.
When the IRS doesn’t have enough resources to stop public funds being plundered by tax evaders, these hopes are dashed, exacerbating the cycle of poverty and systemic inequality.
We cannot stand idle while wealthy tax cheats and their political cronies undermine our nation's fiscal integrity and perpetuate inequality. Demand Congress increase, not cut, funding for the IRS by adding your name now.
