Provincial governments do make a lot of bad decisions, but almost everything that’s catastrophically wrong about Canada originates in Ottawa:
- Mass immigration
- Massive spending, deficits and national debt
- Inflationary monetary policy
- Globalist foreign policy
- Economic development curtailed by climate hysteria
- Corrupt judicial system that doesn’t protect our rights and freedoms anymore
- Loosening of criminal law leading to increased criminality
- Promotion of ethnic segregation and destruction of our national identity
- Woke DEI regulations imposed on every business and institutions
- Persecution of gun owners
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!
We need to do more than just get rid of the disastrous Trudeau government.
We must also downsize Ottawa, end federal intrusion in provincial jurisdictions, and radically decentralize federalism to minimize the damage and have competing provincial models of governance.
Otherwise, Canada is toast.
The reforms I’m suggesting may seem extreme to some, but they’re really not.
In fact, this is how our Founding Fathers intended our country to function.
Canada is a unique country defined by our small population spread across our massive and varied landmass.
The needs of Ontario are different from that of Alberta, Nova Scotia, and Quebec.
It’s ridiculous to try to force one-size-fits-all, Ottawa-knows-best solutions on provinces that are very different.
For our dominion to thrive, for our confederation to remain harmonious, it is necessary that we radically decentralize the federal government and allow provinces to manage their own affairs.
It’s time for Ottawa to butt out!
