Since 2016, more than 40 extrajudicial killings have been perpetuated against trade unionists, and dozens more face harassment, torture and jail as they are criminalized for their work. Amid this dangerous reality, the dedicated and courageous Philippine labor movement continues to organize, build power and fight for the rights of workers across their country.
