We’ve sure learned a lot along the way.
We’ve learned to listen, which resulted in one million conversations with voters of faith ahead of the 2020 election. We’ve learned how critical multi-faith inclusion is to our long term success — which is why we continue to work to welcome everyone who believes in justice, regardless of how they practice a faith.
Our National Organizing Department directly supports lay, faith leaders of different faiths and people of different citizenship, race and gender, as they harness the power of their congregations to work for justice.
We’ve also learned to invest in the leadership of those who are traditionally excluded from power. Our Mujerista program and Black Southern Women’s Collaborative invest in the leadership skills of Latinas and Black women, encouraging us to take our rightful place as leaders in the movement that impacts our lives and the lives of our families.
Every year, every lesson, every victory makes our movement stronger and more unstoppable. Now, as we turn attention to the next 50 years of organizing and leadership development, I hope we have your support. Make a generous gift of $50 or more and invest in the future of Faith in Action.
In solidarity,
Phyllis Hill
