- Matthew Vanderwerff is a senior technical advisor for IREX’s Center for Applied Learning and Impact. IREX’s My Mind > My Media program has developed a curriculum of seven modules focused on building students’ healthy media engagement, including a guide for counselors and other trained professionals to provide in-depth support to students. The program has also provided training and support to educators teaching students the skills needed to safely navigate their online information environment.
- Kerry Townsend is the library media coordinator for Columbia Public Schools in Columbia, Missouri. The district’s Library Media Department has attended an IREX Learn to Discern workshop and worked alongside IREX to adapt that curriculum for middle school students.
