• Hovde spends an awful lot of time in California… Earlier this year, he even had his Wisconsin ballot sent to his $7 million oceanfront mansion in Laguna Beach.


• That’s not the only election he was out-of-state for — missing 17 out of 30 important Wisconsin elections, including one time he was on a yacht in Cabo the day before!


• Mitch McConnell is calling him back to Wisconsin to self-fund a run for U.S. Senate, and Hovde’s agreed to spend up to $20 million of his own personal fortune to kickstart his campaign.


• Hovde has already started his secret campaign… reportedly selling off $4.3 million worth of stocks to help fund a warchest that can defeat Tammy.
