Hi John, I’m sure you’re aware of the GOP madness on display in Washington over the last few weeks.
From Kevin McCarthy being ousted as Speaker by extremists in his own party, to far-right Trump lackey Jim Jordan trying (and failing) to win the gavel, the House GOP is a mess.
Today’s Republican Party is incapable of governing – both themselves and the American people.
If the GOP infighting worsens, the American public will suffer. There is less than a month until the impending government shutdown, and without a Speaker in place, thousands of families could go without paychecks, our national security will weaken, and our economy will struggle.
It’s frustrating to watch the unwillingness of the GOP -- including Mike Garcia -- to work together for our country. That’s why I’m more eager than ever to oust Garcia and move our communities forward.
