John,

The House GOP Speaker drama has reached unprecedented levels of absurdity.

After failing three times to win on the House floor, insurrectionist Jim Jordan—a friend and close ally of Lauren Boebert—was unceremoniously replaced by his colleagues.

While this is good news for the country, it's clear that the extremists are very much still in charge of the House GOP. The newest candidate for Speaker, Mike Johnson, is an advocate of Trump's Big Lie and refused to certify the 2020 election results.

His Trumpy credentials explain, in part, why Lauren Boebert is so closely embracing Johnson, and why Boebert shouted "Boo!" and "Shut up!" at reporters who asked a legitimate question about Johnson's election denial:

Boebert only won by 546 votes in 2022, a Midterm election that should have been great for Republicans. She nearly lost against a first-time challenger because of her hateful MAGA extremism.

Lauren Boebert should never be calling the shots in the House. Shouting at reporters and repeating baseless lies about the 2020 election to do Trump's bidding is unacceptable. We have a chance to beat her this year, but we need your help to defeat her once and for all:
