Gaza is under brutal siege by Israeli aerial bombardment and ground attacks. The staggering loss of Palestinian and Israeli lives has been heartbreaking.

The past two weeks mark the deadliest period for Palestinians in 15 years, with tens of thousands wounded and over 5000 killed — half of whom are children. Gaza is without electricity, food, water, fuel, and functional medical facilities. After 75 years of occupation, no end to the genocide of the Palestinian people is in sight.

Right to the City Alliance, along with our movement partners in the Rising Majority, demand an end to the occupation and genocide led by the Israeli apartheid state and funded by the United States government. We call for a ceasefire NOW, for humanitarian aid, and for the U.S. to stop aid to Israel. And we invite all of you in the alliance to join us in taking action.

- Where possible, partner with progressive electeds to advance resolutions in your city calling for the end of U.S. financial and military aid to Israel.

Despite violent repression and occupation, the resilience of Palestinian grandmothers, children, and people have inspired the world to take to the streets and call for “Free, Free Palestine!” From Turtle Island to Palestine, we believe in a future free of colonialism, occupation, and state violence. We believe in a future of Indigenous self-determination, land sovereignty, and international solidarity — a future where all human life is valued. And we commit to organizing for this future together.
