UNITE HERE Workers ON STRIKE!

Stand in solidarity and join concessions workers at Sky Harbor Airport employed by SSP America and hotel workers at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown!

Hundreds of food and beverage workers employed by SSP America at Sky Harbor Airport have taken a bold step by going on strike. This includes cashiers, cooks, bartenders, servers, dishwashers, and baristas from renowned airport eateries such as Matt's Big Breakfast, Pita Jungle, Dunkin' Donuts, and Four Peaks Brewing Co. Workers’ collective bargaining agreement with SSP America expired on May 31st. Despite the union’s proposals during negotiations, the company has not made significant movement on much-needed wage increases, health insurance contributions, or working conditions.

You can stand with them by joining the picket line today at 11 AM at Terminal 3, Level 1, West Garden. Notably, we will have the honor of hearing from Councilmembers Guardado and Ansari, who share our commitment to the rights of workers and a fair wage.

But the day doesn't end there. At 4:30 PM, we invite you to join the rally with hotel workers at the Sheraton Downtown and stand against poverty wages!
