John, remember this email from a month ago? Unfortunately, not much has changed since then (well…except Kevin McCarthy being removed as Speaker of the House).
House Republicans can’t even organize themselves enough to elect a new speaker. This ongoing leadership vacuum in The House of Representatives is now entering its third week, and there appears to be no end to the chaos in sight.
John, this chaos started with Kevin McCarthy, and it’s clear he won’t be the one to end it.
As a junior high school teacher, I am beyond proud of my students. At the same time, I am sorry to say that they continue to behave much better than House Republicans.
Our district deserves a representative that would make my students and everyone else in our community proud.
John, I’m running to take the same common-sense leadership I use in my classroom every day to Congress. Will you help get me one step closer with a grassroots contribution to my campaign today? [[link removed]]

John,
As a devoted public school teacher, mother, and grandmother in Bakersfield, I've dedicated the past two decades to serving our community and helping young minds thrive.
At the beginning of every week, I have to make sure my classroom is in order and ready to go before my students even walk through the door.
That’s why it’s especially disheartening to watch Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the Freedom Caucus sow chaos and dysfunction in D.C.
It's time for a change, and I’m committed to bringing that change to D.C. for my students, their families, and our entire country. John, can I count on your support with a contribution today? [[link removed]]

John, the kind of harmful, time-wasting nonsense we're seeing from Kevin McCarthy and the Freedom Caucus would ** never** be allowed in a classroom.
I teach English at a junior high school, and I’ve never seen anything even close to the GOP antics we’ve been witnessing in Congress in my classroom.
In stark contrast, I see my students working together, respecting one another, and striving to become our nation’s future leaders every single day.
John, I’m running to take the gavel from McCarthy’s hands and make Congress work with our future leaders and their families in mind. Will you chip in today to help me stand up against McCarthy’s political games? >> [[link removed]]
With gratitude,

Marisa knows that this district – and all of its families – deserve someone fighting for them in Washington, not a career politician who cares about his rich donors and fighting partisan battles.
