Thank you so much for attending WE ACT’s 35th Anniversary Gala last week. Nearly 400 people turned out to celebrate with us 35 years of environmental justice victories. We honored movement champions Richard Moore, Co-Founder and Co-Coordinator of Los Jardines Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Joshua Klainberg, Senior Vice President of the New York League of Conservation Voters; and Donele Wilkins, President & CEO, Green Door Initiative.

We heard inspiring words from WE ACT Co-Founder Vernice Miller-Travis and our Executive Director and Co-Founder Peggy Shepard.

And we were honored with an impassioned speech from Former Vice President Al Gore about the importance of environmental justice and the work that we do here at WE ACT.
