The void corporate, for-profit media doesn’t want to fill—and never will.

Friend,
The news is pretty awful right now. It’s hard not to look away from so much death, destruction, and chaos.
But in the darkest hours, Common Dreams remains committed to our mission and dedicated to this work.
The corporate media—funded by for-profit corporations that fuel so much of the destruction we see in the world—will never offer the unvarnished realities about this teetering, imperfect world or provide a vision of how to make it better.
And so we, the members of the Common Dreams community—the workers, writers, educators, demonstrators, organizers, thinkers, artists, and everyday people who want real change—must come together to create a media that is responsive to the needs of the world.
That’s the original crazy idea behind Common Dreams. But we have to be transparent with you: This model does not survive without the continued support of those who believe in this mission.
Will you join us now to help meet our Fall Campaign goal? If we don’t make it … we simply won’t survive.
