John,

I was on Morning Joe this morning to talk about the stakes of next year’s election and the case seeking to remove Donald Trump from Minnesota ballots.

First, let me say that Donald Trump is disqualified from holding office again for many reasons. But his actions on January 6 are in direct violation of section three of the 14th amendment, the “insurrection clause” drafted after the Civil War.

In Minnesota, we believe that nobody is above the law, and make no mistake: Donald Trump will be held accountable – either legally or at the ballot box in November 2024.

Either way, I can’t overstate it: All signs point to an extremely close race over the next year.

We must continue doing everything we can if we want to avoid another 2016 and the four disastrous years that followed, and that starts with reaching our October fundraising goal.

My team informed me that we still need to raise $16,837 between now and next Tuesday to reach our target, which means I’m counting on your support today.

John, I’m asking directly: Will you chip in $5, $10, $15, or more so we can continue to work together to hold Donald Trump accountable and keep Minnesota blue?

I’m grateful,

Tim Walz
