Things in Washington have gone from bad to worse in the last 24 hours: Beth Van Duyne, encouraged and supported by Newt Gingrich, is now asking the question: Should she run for Speaker of the House?

Beth Van Duyne has spent two terms in Congress and accomplished nearly nothing for North Texans. Working families can’t afford another term of Beth Van Duyne’s extremism in Congress, let alone allow her to be Speaker of the House.

❌ She voted against protecting reproductive rights.

❌ She voted to defund the Department of Homeland Security.

❌ She voted against bipartisan gun safety legislation.

❌ She voted against certifying the votes cast in Pennsylvania after the January 6th insurrection.
