Dear friend,
Freedom has been denied in Georgia, again. The Georgia Supreme Court issued a ruling yesterday that allows a ban on abortion after approximately six weeks of pregnancy to remain in effect.
People in Georgia and across large swaths of the United States are suffering under extreme abortion bans, team, but we refuse to back down. Will you step up now for those in Georgia and around the world who are being denied their essential freedoms? [[link removed]]

Georgia's abortion ban was blatantly unconstitutional when enacted in 2019 and a trial court deemed it unenforceable. But yesterday's ruling allowing the ban to remain in effect concluded that the U.S. Supreme Court's 2022 decision overturning Roe v. Wade effectively erased that history.
This fight is not over. The case, which we filed with a group of partners on behalf of a coalition of physicians, reproductive health centers, and reproductive justice advocates, will now return to the trial court.

Where you live should not determine your ability to access essential health care. Georgians and people across the country deserve access to abortion care in their own communities, and the Center is fighting back.
Step up for Georgia, and all those being denied reproductive freedom. [[link removed]]
Onward,

P.S. Georgia is letting its residents suffer. Between this abortion ban and the state’s horrendous maternal mortality rate, pregnant people in Georgia are in danger. We need to keep fighting, and we need you with us. [[link removed]]
