It's been 22 days since Kevin McCarthy was ousted, and House Republicans still haven't elected a new Speaker of the House, team.

Yesterday, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer won the internal vote to become the next speaker nominee. Then Donald Trump urged Republicans to reject him for voting to certify Joe Biden's 2020 election win, and Emmer dropped out just hours later.

This chaos needs to end.

We should be taking steps to aid our allies in Israel and Ukraine, prevent a government shutdown, and deliver results for the American people. But political infighting is grinding Congress to a halt and preventing us from addressing critical issues.

No matter who they end up electing as the next House speaker, it's clear we need to take back the House majority next year.

While Republicans can't get anything done in the House, they're still working overtime to protect and expand their narrow House majority in 2024. Here in NH-01, three Republicans have announced they're challenging me.
