John, 2022 proved Trump’s Big Lie is here to stay – which means we need to be ready to fight back next year.
That’s because right now, the same sinister forces responsible for conspiracy-fueled voting restrictions and the deadly January 6th insurrection are cooking up their schemes for 2024. Once again, these extremists will say or do almost anything to avoid accepting the will of the voters when the voters reject them.
That's the distressing truth exposed in Common Cause’s new report, Under the Microscope. And it’s also why you and I must act immediately. Key findings in our report include:
- Despite 2020 being the most secure election in our history, only 47% of Americans believed their 2022 votes would be counted fairly.
- Meanwhile, companies like Facebook/Meta and Twitter/X are asleep at the wheel – rolling back their anti-disinfo policies and refusing to enforce the ones that remain.
- The result? More lies, more threats, and more conspiracy theories that Common Cause simply MUST be prepared to respond to in 2024.
These new findings should be a call to action for every American – Democrat, Republican, or Independent – who cares about free and fair elections.
